Everything listed on their lore is for the people that enjoys and wants to create a lore accurate oc..........................................................................................................♦ THE WORLD ♦They live in a cyberpunk-like world where everything is technological and wildlife is almost non-existent. Extinction was imminent and to save their own species they created a robotic body which they could upload their mind, known as Beebots. They live in a binary solar system at the edge of a star cluster, being a bright young yellow star and a dwarf red star. All their energy comes from a dyson sphere surrounding the yellow star. Stars are visible even during the day-time and the night sky is really bright. They colonized their solar system and a few close stars system but deep intergalactic travels
still not possible with their current technology. The colonization of nearby systems was possible because they live inside a star cluster giving them the odds that many civilization don't have.
♦ REPRODUCTION ♦Beebots are not immortal. They can die if their 'brain' gets damaged. This is irreversible since their mind date is not stored anywhere else other than their own body.Only when an individual dies a new baby is allowed to be made.
Babies are made in the lab and grown in a tube as they cannot have it on their artificial bodies. What is borne from it is the original form of the species, known as Beeonin.
They grow as a normal being until adulthood where their mind will be transferred to their new metallic body. Before their 'come to age' happens their genetic material is stored in case they decide to have a baby of their own.As the world cannot handle life as before and this includes food resources, it is completely illegal to keep your natural body.♦ SOCIETY ♦Beebots have two main society systems: The mechalots and the resistance. The Mechalots are a totalitarian democracy that believes that it is impossible to live without your new robotic body in any of the species colonies, forcing any young Beeonin to pass through the ‘brain transference’ ritual at age.
Their main goal is to guarantee that any natural life remaining in their planet and colonies to be preserved as their mechanical bodies doesn’t waste as much energy and resources as their previous fleshy body.
Over 80% of the population agrees with this system as life is easier and less dangerous overall. Filled with the promises that the world may someday recover, they are prone to give away any resistance locations.
The Resistance is a small group of people that tries to live with their natural bodies and refuse the ’brain transference’ rites. Living in a solar-punk way trying to preserve the bits of natural life around them.
As most of their members are Beeonin they are unable to live in the colony planets since all of them are impossible to live without heavy machinery being restricted to their home-planet for now.
Life like this is harsh as severe natural disasters strike them frequently and so are the dangers the Mechalots cause to them.
Although the majority of this population is made of Beeonin that escaped their maturity ritual at least 20% of the resistance members are Beebots that don't agree with the Mechalots philosophy.
Their goal is to survive, return to the natural ways with an eco-friendly life and find a new colony planet that can sustain life away from the Mechalots.
